Access Projects as a Result of the Settlement

Delray

The Delray angler access site is located at the former Detroit Edison Delray Power Plant on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. The facility is open from 6AM to 9PM and has a two-lane concrete launch ramp, 74 car parking spaces (12 barrier-free), barrier-free restrooms, and 450 feet of barrier-free shoreline fishing. There is a boat launch fee.

  Directions:
Enter off Jefferson Avenue, one block south of Livernois Avenue, next to Fort Wayne.

Harbor Beach

The Harbor Beach angler access site is located on Lake Huron at the Detroit Edison Harbor Beach Power Plant. The facility is open dawn to dusk. The site has 92 car parking spaces, barrier-free restrooms, a signed walkway for wildlife viewing, 1,480 feet of barrier-free shoreline fishing, and five barrier-free fishing piers. There is no fee to use this facility.

Directions:
Located approximately 60 miles north of Port Huron. Enter off M-25 north of Harbor Beach to power plant entrance road. Parking lot is on the right.
 

Marysville

The Marysville angler access site is located on the St Clair River at the Detroit Edison Marysville Power Plant. The facility is open dawn to dusk and has forty-four car parking spaces (three barrier-free), barrier-free restrooms, 220 feet of barrier-free shoreline fishing access, and a barrier-free fishing pier. There is no fee to use this facility.

Directions:
Located approximately 5 miles south of Port Huron. Gratiot Avenue (M-25) exit off I-94, follow to M-29. Enter off M-29 on north side of power plant gate.


Monroe

The Monroe angler access facility opened in April 1998. There are 50 car parking spaces (2 barrier-free), barrier-free restrooms, and 10 barrier-free fishing platforms. There is no fee to use this facility.

  Directions:
Located 39 miles south of Detroit. Front Street exit off I-75, head east towards power plant. Just west of discharge canal bridge, parking lot on north side and angler access site on south side of Front Street.
