Obwohl die Rehabilitation der Seeforellen in den Gro\u00dfen Seen ein Ziel des Fischereimanagements ist, sind die bisherigen Bem\u00fchungen gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils gescheitert, da die \u00dcberlebensrate in fr\u00fchen Lebensstadien niedrig ist, ungeeignete Besatzpraktiken, zu geringe Anzahl erwachsener Fische und Weibchen, die Eier mit niedrigem Thiamingehalt produzieren. Dieses Projekt wird Wissenschaftlern helfen, die n\u00e4chsten Ma\u00dfnahmen zu empfehlen, um TDC bei Fischen in den Gro\u00dfen Seen zu reduzieren oder zu kontrollieren.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Der Winkel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Die Forscher hatten drei Hypothesen f\u00fcr die Studie: Fische produzierten Thiaminase <em>neu<\/em>, die Thiaminase stammte aus Bakterien im Darm des Fisches oder aus der Nahrung, die der Fisch zu sich nahm. Seitdem die Quelle der Thiaminase bekannt ist, k\u00f6nnen Forscher besser verstehen, wie Fische TDC entwickeln.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1549\" src=\"https:\/\/glft.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/fish-swimming.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>Das Wesentliche<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Zun\u00e4chst identifizierten die Wissenschaftler vier Kandidatengene f\u00fcr Thiaminase: zwei Gene bei Karpfen, eines bei Zebrafischen und eines bei Maifischen. Sie w\u00e4hlten diese Gene auf Grundlage von Aminos\u00e4uredaten aus teilweise gereinigten Thiaminasen aus. Die Forscher verwendeten Standardmethoden, um das Protein aus Fischinnereien, Geweben und Bakterienkulturen zu extrahieren. Mit diesen Verfahren fanden die Wissenschaftler heraus, ob eine oder mehrere Thiaminasen in den von ihnen untersuchten Fischarten produziert werden.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Die Ergebnisse sind da \u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Die Forschung zeigt zum ersten Mal, dass es ein Gen gibt, das Thiaminase in einem mehrzelligen Organismus produziert. Bisher wurde das einzige bekannte Gen, das Thiaminase produziert, in einem Bakterium gefunden. Bei Fischen aus den Gro\u00dfen Seen war die genaue Thiaminasequelle unbekannt. Wir wissen jetzt, dass mindestens ein Gen aus dem Genom des Zebrafisches ein Enzym mit Thiaminaseaktivit\u00e4t produziert, und ein Kandidat f\u00fcr ein Thiaminasegen bei Maifischen wurde identifiziert.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Was bedeutet das alles?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Durch die Erforschung und Entdeckung von Thiaminasequellen ist es einfacher, die TDC-Variation innerhalb der \u00d6kosysteme der Gro\u00dfen Seen zu verstehen. Diese Informationen werden Wissenschaftlern auch dabei helfen, Managementma\u00dfnahmen zu entwickeln, um TDC zu reduzieren und Populationsverluste auszugleichen.
