Neue Forschungsergebnisse untersuchen die Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Arten, die zu ihren gegens\u00e4tzlichen Populationstrends beitragen k\u00f6nnten. Fr\u00fch in ihrem Leben zeigen der See-Wei\u00dffisch und der Cisco unterschiedliche Stoffwechselraten, Beutepr\u00e4ferenzen und sind anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr Raubtiere. Ein Vergleich der Bedingungen im n\u00f6rdlichen Michigan-Huron-See und im Champlain-See zeigt, dass Raubtiere eine wichtige Rolle bei der Rekrutierung des Wei\u00dffischs spielen k\u00f6nnten.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t<div id=\"fws_69f5b3cb53749\"  data-column-margin=\"default\" data-midnight=\"dark\"  class=\"wpb_row vc_row-fluid vc_row\"  style=\"padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; \"><div class=\"row-bg-wrap\" data-bg-animation=\"none\" data-bg-overlay=\"false\"><div class=\"inner-wrap\"><div class=\"row-bg viewport-desktop\"  style=\"\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row_col_wrap_12 col span_12 dark left\">\n\t<div  class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column column_container vc_column_container col no-extra-padding inherit_tablet inherit_phone\"  data-padding-pos=\"all\" data-has-bg-color=\"false\" data-bg-color=\"\" data-bg-opacity=\"1\" data-animation=\"\" data-delay=\"0\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"vc_column-inner\" >\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<h3>Wichtige Erkenntnisse<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Die Larven der Cisco-Fische weisen einen h\u00f6heren Stoffwechsel auf als die Larven der Wei\u00dffische, was ihnen wahrscheinlich erm\u00f6glicht, schneller zu schwimmen und so eher in der Lage ist, Raubtieren zu entgehen und auf Beute zu treffen.<\/li>\n<li>Junge Ciscos sind au\u00dferdem weniger w\u00e4hlerisch in Bezug auf ihre Nahrung als Gro\u00dfe Seenfische, die sich aktiv Cladocera aussuchen, eine Art Zooplankton, das in den k\u00fcstennahen Gew\u00e4ssern, in denen sich junge Gro\u00dfe Seenfische versammeln, relativ selten ist.<\/li>\n<li>Schwarzmundgrundeln sind effektivere R\u00e4uber bei jungen Wei\u00dffischen als bei jungen Cisco-Fischen.
