El GLFT aprob\u00f3 recientemente cuatro propuestas de financiaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de su programa de Protecci\u00f3n y Restauraci\u00f3n del H\u00e1bitat 2024. Estos proyectos, que suman un total de $715,000, restaurar\u00e1n el paso de peces eliminando barreras a lo largo de los r\u00edos.<\/p>\n

Trucha Ilimitada PARA\u00a0<\/strong>Restauraci\u00f3n del paso de peces en el arroyo Claybank<\/em><\/h3>\n

Trout Unlimited y sus socios reemplazar\u00e1n una alcantarilla en Claybank Creek y Pine Creek Road en el condado de Manistee, Michigan. La alcantarilla actual es de tama\u00f1o inferior al del cauce natural del r\u00edo, impide el paso de organismos acu\u00e1ticos y altera los procesos ecol\u00f3gicos naturales.<\/p>\n

Alianza de recursos de conservaci\u00f3n PARA\u00a0<\/strong>Fase final de dise\u00f1o y permisos para la remoci\u00f3n de la presa Baldwin<\/em><\/h3>\n

Conservation Resource Alliance y sus socios trabajar\u00e1n con un equipo de ingenier\u00eda para dise\u00f1ar y obtener permisos para la remoci\u00f3n de la infraestructura de una represa deteriorada y una antigua piscifactor\u00eda en el r\u00edo Baldwin. Este esfuerzo tiene como objetivo restaurar un cauce fluvial saludable, reconstruir el puente ferroviario cercano e instalar una barrera estacional para lampreas marinas.<\/p>\n

El Centro de Cuencas Hidrogr\u00e1ficas de la Bah\u00eda Grand Traverse PARA\u00a0<\/strong>Proyecto de reemplazo del cruce ferroviario de Mitchell Creek<\/em><\/h3>\n

El Centro de Cuencas de Grand Traverse Bay y sus socios reemplazar\u00e1n una alcantarilla de tama\u00f1o insuficiente en el cruce ferroviario de Mitchell Creek para restaurar el funcionamiento natural del arroyo y mejorar el paso de los peces. Los esfuerzos se centrar\u00e1n en reemplazar la alcantarilla para mantener las dimensiones adecuadas del arroyo y los mecanismos de transporte de sedimentos, mejorando as\u00ed el funcionamiento natural del arroyo y el h\u00e1bitat dentro del mismo.<\/p>\n

Alianza de recursos de conservaci\u00f3n PARA\u00a0<\/strong>Proyecto de restauraci\u00f3n y paso de peces del r\u00edo Crystal<\/em><\/h3>\n

Conservation Resource Alliance y sus socios aumentar\u00e1n el paso de peces y restablecer\u00e1n el acceso a los h\u00e1bitats de desove y afluentes a lo largo del r\u00edo Crystal en el condado de Leelanau.
