La eliminaci\u00f3n de la presa reconectar\u00e1 el arroyo Buckhorn con el r\u00edo Muskegon, lo que permitir\u00e1 el paso de peces a m\u00e1s de once kil\u00f3metros de refugio de agua fr\u00eda y h\u00e1bitat de desove.<\/p>\n<h3>La ciudad de Albion para el <em>Proyecto de eliminaci\u00f3n de las presas de Albion: construcci\u00f3n<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>La ciudad de Albion planea completar la remoci\u00f3n de cuatro presas en los brazos norte y sur del r\u00edo Kalamazoo. Estas remociones reconectar\u00e1n 66 kil\u00f3metros de r\u00edo, lo que permitir\u00e1 que las especies de peces aut\u00f3ctonos accedan a h\u00e1bitats de desove, alimentaci\u00f3n y refugios termales, a la vez que beneficiar\u00e1 al ecosistema acu\u00e1tico al restaurar el transporte natural de sedimentos, madera y nutrientes, y eliminar el aumento de la temperatura del agua causado por la mayor exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n solar en los embalses.<\/p>\n<h3>Consejo de la Cuenca del Mitt para el <em>Proyecto de rehabilitaci\u00f3n de Lower Tannery Creek, un afluente de la bah\u00eda Little Traverse<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>El Consejo de la Cuenca de Tip of the Mitt planea aprovechar las mejoras pesqueras anteriores al completar la ingenier\u00eda, el dise\u00f1o y la eliminaci\u00f3n de una alcantarilla de tama\u00f1o insuficiente que limita el paso de peces y causa inundaciones en Tannery Creek, uno de los afluentes m\u00e1s grandes de la bah\u00eda Little Traverse del lago Michigan.<\/p>\n<h3>Alianza de Recursos de Conservaci\u00f3n para la <em>Fase de dise\u00f1o y permisos para la remoci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de la presa del r\u00edo<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Conservation Resource Alliance y sus socios trabajar\u00e1n con un equipo de ingenier\u00eda en el dise\u00f1o y la tramitaci\u00f3n de los permisos necesarios para eliminar la infraestructura deteriorada de la presa, restaurar un cauce fluvial sano y reemplazar un cruce vial adyacente inadecuado, lo que resultar\u00e1 en importantes mejoras ecol\u00f3gicas para la cuenca. Las obras afectar\u00e1n al r\u00edo Rapid, un importante afluente de la cadena de lagos del r\u00edo Elk.<\/p>\n<h3>Alianza de Recursos de Conservaci\u00f3n para la <em>Fase de construcci\u00f3n de la remoci\u00f3n de la presa Baldwin y restauraci\u00f3n del r\u00edo<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Conservation Resource Alliance y sus socios trabajar\u00e1n con contratistas de ingenier\u00eda y construcci\u00f3n para remover la infraestructura de una represa deteriorada y una antigua granja de peces en el r\u00edo Baldwin, restaurar un canal de arroyo saludable con h\u00e1bitat dentro del mismo, instalar una barrera de lamprea marina estacional y reemplazar el puente de sendero estatal adyacente r\u00edo arriba y de tama\u00f1o insuficiente de 119 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad.<\/p>\n<h3>Pinos Huron para <em>Restauraci\u00f3n del h\u00e1bitat de la trucha de arroyo: mejoras en el cruce de caminos y arroyos de la cuenca del arroyo Taylor<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Huron Pines planea reemplazar cuatro cruces de arroyos de tama\u00f1o insuficiente con estructuras adecuadas para reconectar funcionalmente cuatro millas y media acumuladas aguas arriba del arroyo Taylor.
