Dans le lac Michigan, une grande partie de la variation du recrutement et de l&#039;abondance du cor\u00e9gone de lac semble \u00eatre diff\u00e9rente selon les stocks. Si les stocks de cor\u00e9gone \u00e9taient mieux d\u00e9limit\u00e9s, les chercheurs et les gestionnaires pourraient disposer de davantage d&#039;options pour \u00e9tudier la dynamique du recrutement et la gestion sp\u00e9cifique aux stocks.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet de recherche a utilis\u00e9 des techniques g\u00e9nomiques pour am\u00e9liorer la compr\u00e9hension de la structure de la population de cor\u00e9gone de lac, tout en fournissant la base d\u2019un outil de g\u00e9notypage plus rentable. Les Drs Megan McPhee de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Alaska\u2013Fairbanks et Wes Larson de la National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, ainsi que le chercheur postdoctoral Yue Shi, ont dirig\u00e9 une \u00e9quipe de recherche qui a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la structure spatiale des populations de cor\u00e9gone de lac \u00e0 l\u2019aide de dizaines de milliers de marqueurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et a identifi\u00e9 les marqueurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques ayant le plus de pouvoir statistique pour diff\u00e9rencier les stocks de cor\u00e9gone. Ils ont con\u00e7u un panel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique pour cibler uniquement les marqueurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques les plus informatifs, ce qui a permis d\u2019identifier une structure de population \u00e0 plus petite \u00e9chelle que ce qui \u00e9tait apparent dans les \u00e9tudes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t<h3>Principales conclusions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Les cor\u00e9gones du c\u00f4t\u00e9 nord-ouest du lac Michigan sont g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement distincts de ceux du c\u00f4t\u00e9 est.<\/li>\n<li>Les cor\u00e9gones de la rive est du lac Michigan pr\u00e9sentent un niveau de structure de population plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que ceux de la rive ouest.<\/li>\n<li>Il y a moins de diff\u00e9renciation g\u00e9n\u00e9tique que ce qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rapport\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment entre les cor\u00e9gones du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du lac Michigan de la p\u00e9ninsule du comt\u00e9 de Door et ceux de Big Bay de Noc au nord-est de la p\u00e9ninsule.<\/li>\n<li>Il existe deux groupes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de cor\u00e9gones dans le nord-ouest du lac Michigan qui semblent se chevaucher dans la baie Green.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>R\u00e9sultats significatifs pour la recherche<\/h3>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de ces travaux sont utilis\u00e9s pour g\u00e9notyper des \u00e9chantillons de stocks mixtes de cor\u00e9gones du lac Michigan (avec le Dr Jared Homola de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 du Wisconsin-Stevens Point), ce qui pourrait conduire \u00e0 de meilleurs mod\u00e8les de capture par \u00e2ge pour l&#039;\u00e9valuation des stocks de cor\u00e9gones du lac.
